This poem was inspired by Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s writings.
Someday, when our hopes will have faded
all our dreams torn asunder
and all our resources raided
a glimmer of hope will shine
Someday, when our lands will be sterile
all our rivers poisoned
and the sky scorched and vile
our cold hearts will be warmed
That day, we will rediscover Love
that day we will rediscover fire
and we will then evolve far beyond
our strait mortal plane and thrive!

The Demon Within
This is an old half-written poem of mine I completed a few days ago.
The title leads to where I originally published it.
the demon flows in my veins
the foul beast is full of vanity
this time I hope he remains
and does not flee with my sanity
ooh, my thoughts are running wild
everything seems to be speeding
I feel like a frightened child
where is the beast going to lead me?
The title leads to where I originally published it.
I feel the demon within rising
my heart beats raging fast
oh, the feeling is so exciting
will I be able this time to last?
my heart beats raging fast
oh, the feeling is so exciting
will I be able this time to last?
the demon flows in my veins
the foul beast is full of vanity
this time I hope he remains
and does not flee with my sanity
ooh, my thoughts are running wild
everything seems to be speeding
I feel like a frightened child
where is the beast going to lead me?

Sun Coming Up
I discovered this poem in the drafts of my blog.
I wrote it almost three years ago but for some inexplicable reason
I never published it. I fist published it at authspot a few days ago

I'm in pain, friend
my whole body is aching
forgive my seeing red
I was cruel and selfish
Stay with me, friend
my heart feels cold and empty
I wouldn't wake up again
if our friendship ended
Sun's coming up, friend
we both love this moment
the night soon will be dead
the Sun will end our torment
Come closer, friend
I'm still feeling cold
I love you, friend
you have a heart of gold

My technical blog is finally on-line
The Techworm, my latest and fresher than hot pancakes right out of the oven blog, has been on-line for a few hours. From now on I will split my time and attention between my two great loves, technology and literature, or more generally non fiction and fiction writing. It will be interesting to see whether one of the two sides wins or it turns out to be a...tie.

Sirenia- My Mind's Eye
I just heard this beautiful song for the first time.
I knew the group but not this song of them.
For this one I have to post the full lyrics!
If you were here
I'd whisper sweet nothings in your ear
And appeal to all your fears
If you were mine If you were only mine
I'd bring you so much further down
And twist your mind until the end of time
You will never realize
What darkness lies inside
inside my mind
If you are down
I will come to chain you to the ground
And penetrate your mind.
If you are lost if only you are lost
I'll be there to break your trust
And ravage all your lust for life, my love
You will never realize
What darkness lies inside
inside my mind.
I knew the group but not this song of them.
For this one I have to post the full lyrics!

Siren
This video has some seriously disturbing images yet the voice of Theatre of Tragedy's singer is one of the most melodic and beautiful voices I have ever heard. She sounds like a real ancient greek Siren! Her voice will soothe your soul yet the imagery is not for the faint-hearted..
Thanks a lot for this rexxtini!
